I'm Mohamed Solah, a dedicated hotelier, a very cool dad and currently the CEO of Crown & Champa Resorts (CCR), a renowned chain of hotels in the Maldives that contains eleven resorts that range from family-friendly vacation spots to ultra-luxurious hideaways.
I began working in this field I love right from the beginning. Perseverance, curiosity, and a strong will to succeed propelled me from humble beginnings to become one of the first Maldivian general managers abroad. I have over 20 years of real-world experience and have led individuals from various cultural backgrounds. I genuinely believe in the Maldivian hospitality's timeless warmth and the potential of local talent.
It is an honor for me to guide CCR into a new era where creativity, sustainability, and sincere service create life-changing experiences and improve our communities. Whether it's promoting solar energy across our islands or mentoring the next generation of Maldivian leaders, I remain committed to creating a society where tradition and progress coexist.

I held the position of Director of Operations at Vilamendhoo Island Resort. In this position, my team consisted of 275 employees from 10 different countries, and I had direct reporting interactions with 5 Department Heads.
I was assigned the position of Front Office Manager at The Small Maldives Island Co. Amilla Fushi Resort. I overlooked the Front Office, Butler Service, Airport Team, Kids Club, Excursions and Guest Transport.
In Abu Dhabi, I had the pleasure of having the role of Rooms Operations Manager at Zaya Nurai Island. I worked there for 1 year and 2 months, managing the regular operations of the guest rooms.
I am the former Director Of Operations at Hurawalhi Island Resort. I was responsible for overseeing and guiding departments within the hotel to achieve its revenue, profit, and client satisfaction goals.
I have also worked as the General Manager of Komandoo Island Resort, and making sure the team's work is supervised, guided, and organized, and the resort standards are upheld.
I worked as the Cluster General Manager at Zaya Al-Barari Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I led operations across multiple properties, driving strategic initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
I took over Crown & Champa Resorts' operations across the Maldives as Chief Operating Officer. After a while, I was elevated to the role of CEO, where I was in charge of the company's strategic growth and commitment to offering true Maldivian hospitality.
